Associate Designer / Animator
Job Summary: BigStar Motion Design is seeking a talented, Associate Designer / Animator to create and execute graphics for the film, television, and advertising industries. As a creative problem solver and artist, you will help develop stories across a broad spectrum of graphics initiatives, such as: branding & identity, documentaries, show packages, promotional teasers, advertising, and more. The ideal candidate must efficiently collaborate and see the project through to delivery, working critically alongside a team of creatives and strategists alike.
This is a full-time staff role with benefits and will require working onsite in our New York studio. Our office operates on a hybrid work model - work from home Fridays, in office Mondays - Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Support and generate original conceptual, and creative ideas with the rest of the design team.
- Be involved throughout the project, ensuring delivered results that exceed expectations.
- Create, design, and animate where necessary, in collaboration with others or individually to suit the task at hand.
Qualifications
- Previous Design Studio experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently, handling a vast variety of problems at the same time.
- Experience preparing presentations with strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge.
- Proficient in After Effects and C4D.
- Detail Oriented, proactive & organized.
- Communicates well with others, remains calm under pressure.
