BGSTR Internship Program
Program Summary: BigStar Motion Design is seeking talented Design and Animation interns who are looking to further their skills and gain real-world experience in a professional environment. You'll be working closely with directors collaborating in a team from ideation to finish on a diverse range of projects for documentary film, advertising, in-show content, network branding, and more. The ideal candidate will engage and contribute to the entire process, have a sense of ownership, is motivated and eager to learn, and able to take direction as well as work in a team and individually.
This is a full-time role and will require working onsite in our New York studio. Our office operates on a hybrid work model - work from home Fridays, in office Mondays - Thursdays.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of one or more of the following software:
- After Effects
- Cinema 4D
- Photoshop/Illustrator
- Houdini
Interest in the following disclipines:
- 2D / 3D Animation
- 2D / 3D Design
- Compositing
- Concept Design & Storyboarding
Professional Objectives:
- Advancement of professional portfolio.
- Gain knowledge of new software or skill.
- Expand network of professional contacts.
